MOLKANO is committed to exclusively using first-tier Mazzucchelli cellulose acetate. This material combines wood pulp, cotton fibers, and natural binders, resulting in a hypoallergenic, durable, and exceptionally reliable option for eyewear.
Organic acetate is non-toxic, environmentally friendly, and recyclable. We have chosen to work with this type of premium acetate exclusively produced in Italy.
Precision Hinges
We use hinges with cutting-edge technology that ensures both performance and longevity for your frame. Our proprietary hinges range from 3-barrel to 7-barrel designs, with some featuring rivets and others without. Each hinge is deeply inlaid into the acetate for a secure connection and enhanced durability.
Lenses & Anti-Reflective Coating
MOLKANO’s proprietary lenses combine advanced coatings, filters, and optics to deliver exceptional visual performance. Designed with a deep understanding of visual perception, they provide the ideal balance of color, contrast, and light transmission for enhanced clarity, protection, and comfort. Specialized anti-reflective coatings reduce glare and reflections while helping protect your eyes and surrounding skin from harmful UV rays. All lenses are backed by a 2-year warranty and include an official warranty card from our lens supplier, Divel Italia.

In our acetate temples, we incorporate carefully selected short or long wire cores, tailored to perfectly complement the design and shape of each frame. The wire cores are meticulously colorized, adding an extra touch of refinement to the overall aesthetic.
